When we say that all meals are included, we mean to say
fabulous, home cooked meals are included.  

Larger sized Assisted Living and Care Facilities need to prepare meals on a large scale.  Consequently, a large amount of pre-packaged and pre-made Institutional Foods are used.  There are many corporations that provide these foods; you may be aware of some of them.  Have you ever wondered why "Hospital Food" has such a bad reputation?

Our meals are 100% Home-Made and from "scratch", meaning, of course, made from basic ingredients, almost never "pre-made".  Many of our ingredients are home grown or from organic sources.  This goes for every single meal; Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.  Once in a while, we will treat us all to pizza bought from a local pizza parlor, but that indicates how rare the occasion is that our residents get anything other than Home-Cooked Meals.

We strongly believe in the old saying, "You are what you eat".  We don't think anyone wants to end up being a colorful box or can of prepared, ready-to-eat food!

Your pets are part of your family — part of your home. We try very hard to make Mountain Haven your home, so it  wouldn't be right for your pets to not be welcome.  Just ask us how to keep your animal friends with you at Mountain Haven.

In addition, we go to great lengths to keep our home allergen free.  Keeping pets is well regulated so that those with allergy problems don't suffer from our pet-friend's presence.
